October 2023 San Diego Calendar of Events THANK YOU! Everyone who participated in the Clothing Drive for Father Joe's Villages really helped make a difference for so many unhoused people in San Diego! I am in awe of the generosity of my community!    Can you believe it's October already! I'm grateful for the cooler evenings and I'm looking forward to the coming season of celebrations. As always, San Diego knows how to keep us all busy. There are Octoberfests happening all over San Diego! Plus, the popular Haunted Trail will be open all month long in Balboa Park. Get out there and enjoy this fun season!    If you know anyone who might be interested in receiving this event calendar every month, please have them sign up at this  link.   October - Ponder this,  - "There is no season when such pleasant and sunny spots may be lighted on, and produce so pleasant an effect on the feelings, as now in October." — Nathaniel Hawthorne - San Diego may not have the ...

Scroll to the bottom for information about the Clothing Drive I'm sponsoring. San Diego's homeless will be facing winter soon enough, so I am doing something to support them. Join me!    Even with the heat San Diego is outside having fun! Because, this is paradise! Don't miss the Surf Dog Surf-a-thon, the 51st Annual Barona Pow-wow, and La Mesa's popular Octoberfest (I know! Already!)   If you know anyone who might be interested in receiving this event calendar every month, please have them sign up at this  link.   September - Ponder this,  “All the months are crude experiments, out of which the perfect September is made.” — Virginia Woolf. This quote is quite magical - I love September, summer isn't really gone yet, but new beginnings are all around, the harvest, and back-to-school are full of possibilities and promise.    Remember, I am always here for my clients and their friends and family.   Hope Leitner, Realtor®, CRS

As a former accounting professional and a current real estate agent, I am here to help. Feel free to reach out. I'm happy to answer questions or make a good referral if needed.  On the calendar below are so many great events, I'm particularly interested in the chocolate and beer pairings at the Escondido Chocolate Festival, and the celebration of Black Comix Day will be fun to do with my grandkids. Finally, the Bird Friendly Home and Garden Show looks like a g...
